Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!! For St. Patrick’s Day, my youngest daughter Taylor made some delicious homemade ooey, gooey, AND chewy Lucky Charms Treats to celebrate with our family. We got some Limited Edition Lucky Charms and love that green color.
Taylor did such an amazing job, I asked her to help me put the Reel together and record her first voiceover. Such a great father and daughter experience! We had so much fun and I’m sure there will be more of these in the future. Check out the Instagram Reel and watch Taylor make it!
Ingredients:
6 cups of Lucky Charms
1 10-ounce bag of mini marshmallows
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Make Lucky Charms Treats – Melt butter in a pot over medium heat, and add a bag of mini marshmallows. Stir the mini marshmallows until it is melted in the pot. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt and mix until it is fully combined. Turn off the heat and add Lucky Charms to the pot. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow.
Shape Lucky Charms Treats – Pour the lucky charms treats on a parchment paper lined baking tray and pack it into a large rectangle. Cut them into smaller rectangles and enjoy.
Tips:
- Substitute your favorite cereal for Lucky Charms.
- Do not overpack the lucky charms on the baking dish.
- Add pinch of salt to cut some of the sweetness
