I recently purchased my first Weber Grill after years of using a gas grill. I think gas grills are cool and easy to start-up, but I personally like the smoky flavor and taste of food from a Charcoal Grill even though the prep time takes a little longer . I may end up buying a gas grill for convenience in the future, but for now I want to experiment and play around with different cooking techniques on the charcoal grill.
I decided to break-in my Weber Grill by making two types of home-cooked burgers: Bacon Avocado and Sauteed Mushrooms. My parents came over with a big Salmon Fillet from Costco and asked me to make something with it, so I decided to use the left over rub from the burgers and squeezed lime on top.
The burgers turned out super juicy and charred from the grill and the salmon was flaky and tasted very fresh. Perfect dinner on a nice Spring Saturday evening!
