Poke Bombs

Poke Bombs aka Sushi Bombs aka Inari Bombs aka Hella Bombs have been something I’ve been obsessed with and made frequently since trying it for the first time in 2023. For Friendsgiving, I made a flavor-packed tray of 36 amazing Poke Bombs to share with the homies. I loaded the Poke Bombs with a combination of @fishandthings_pokebar_sj Spicy Salmon Poke and F&T Mix Poke and topped it with some extra goodies that I love in and on my sushi rolls.

Poke Bombs are super customizable and you’ve seen me loaded it with different goodies like imitation crab, salmon/crab mixture, seaweed, tuna, spam, and much more! The combination of flavors are endless and no matter what you stuff it with, I think it will be great.

Ingredients (Makes 36):
3 packages Seasoned Fried Bean Curd/ Ajitsuke Inari Age
6 cups Cooked Sushi rice
2 pounds @fishandthings_pokebar_sj poke or your favorite poke
2 Persian Cucumbers, thinly sliced
Tobiko

Furikake Rice Seasoning

Sushi Sauce
Kewpie Mayonnaise
Sriracha


Steps:

Make Poke Bombs – Stuffed seasoned fried bean curd with a heaping tablespoon of sushi rice. Top the sushi rice with heaping tablespoon of poke. Sprinkle each Poke Bomb with furikake seasoning and drizzle with Unagi/Sushi Sauce and Sriracha.

Tips:

  • You can stuff these Poke Bombs with any toppings you like.
  • I bought the packages from the frozen section of my local 99 Ranch Supermarket. I’ve seen a canned version too, but have not tried that.
  • For an extra crunch, add sliced cucumbers and fried shallots or fried garlic.
