I love tender sliced beef shank in Bún Bò Huế and when I smoked and tried Thor’s Hammer Beef Shank for the first time, I thought about Bún Bò Huế and knew the spicy lemongrass BBH flavors would be perfect for a Thor’s Hammer beef shank. I was so right and the girls and I were blown away with this BBH-style Thor’s Hammer Beef Shank. This is one of my funnest cooks I’ve had in a while!
The beef shank smelled like my favorite BBH restaurant! The Quoc Viet “Hue” Style Beef Flavored Soup Base was the perfect seasoning and rub for it. I love the deep flavor, tender and unique gelatinous texture of the smoked beef shank after the long smoking process and the spicy lemongrass flavors and aroma were phenomenal.
